Established in 2009, Almazaan is a boutique, family-managed stud breeding exceptional Warmbloods and German Riding Ponies. Our horses, sourced from the finest imported bloodlines, are meticulously bred and raised for character and performance.
Situated on 105 picturesque acres in the Adelaide Hills, our horses thrive on undulating hills of improved pastures adorned with river gums and natural creek lines. Each horse is treated as a cherished family member and carefully prepared for their future homes.
While our initial emphasis was on breeding Arabians and Arabian derivatives, we’ve since shifted our direction to crafting top-quality Warmblood and German Riding Ponies. The bloodlines utilised at Almazaan reflect our commitment to international excellence right here in Australia. Interestingly, German Riding Ponies share a significant percentage of Arabian blood, adding to their exceptional qualities.
The 2019/20 season marked the exciting arrival of our first WB x GRP progeny. Leveraging the finest imported bloodlines, we strive to produce super performance ponies suitable for all ages and multi-disciplinary pursuits.
We take immense pride in the success of Almazaan progeny, which have found homes across Australia and excelled in various disciplines.
